The popular video streaming platform Youtube is nowadays working to launch a new project “Youtube Short Video Creation”. According to news, Youtube’s this new project will compete with the popular short video streaming app known as TikTok. TikTok has been massively popular with video creators today with over 800 million-plus users all around the world. So, Youtube is planning to launch its new project ‘Youtube Short.’
Google’s popular video publishing service Youtube is now working to launch the new project Youtube Short video publishing service. TikTok has been the most downloaded app on play store after Whatsapp. TikTok’s parent company ByteDance has recently launched a music streaming App Resso. This app offers music streaming services like JioSaavan, Gaana or Spotify.
This new service of youtube may be launched in the name of ‘Shorts.’ This service will be working along with youtube. Users can then publish short videos on youtube through this service. It is also assumed that this new service ‘Youtube Shorts’ will act as a trump card against TikTok. This new service will be providing licensed music to create short videos. Users can create videos of length 15 seconds to a maximum of 60 seconds.
TikTok was launched in China in 2016 and worldwide in 2018. Since then, this app had been widely popular globally in a short span of time. However, TikTok was initially launched in the name of the ‘Musically’ app and was later changed into TikTok. In this app, users can publish videos for less than 60 seconds.
However, it is yet to be seen whether this new service of publishing short videos by youtube becomes as popular as TikTok or not. We can still assume that Youtube is the largest video publishing platform on the globe and it is positive that this new service can also be as popular.
Moreover, users might be more interested in Youtube Shorts because of the monetization option. In TikTok, it is difficult to monetize using CPC and PPC ads. You can’t get any advertisement offer by the company till you get a million followers on TikTok.
But, it can be different in the case of Youtube Shorts. When you can get your passion along with some monetization options, won’t you be more enthusiastic about using Youtube’s new service? I definitely would. What do you think? Please leave a comment.
